Saint Emilion Grand Cru "Les Hauts de Labrie" 2020 Red - Château Croix de Labrie

The wine expresses aromas of plum, red berries, coffee, and undergrowth. Supple and elegant, it's a perfect companion for grilled red meats.

The vineyard is managed by Axelle Courdurié from pruning to harvest, from vinification to bottling. A talented winemaker, Axelle, with a keen eye for detail, brings her feminine sensibility to the wines of Croix de Labrie. Using organic and biodynamic farming, the soils are worked and grassed, plowing, and double Guyot pruning are used. The goal is to achieve a balanced load per vine of up to 6 bunches with a density of 6,500 vines/ha. Leaf thinning, green harvesting, and leaf thinning are carried out before the harvest to increase ripeness. Only fully ripe grapes are harvested, resulting in extremely low yields. Here again, precision and detail are key.
