An interesting vintage with the aromatics of Pinot Gris on the nose: dried fruits, gingerbread.
On the palate, roundness and good length. Pinot Gris planted 15km from Paris!
In an era where professional retraining is in full swing, Pierric Petit is an avant-garde. This trained carpenter first practiced his trade for 25 years. This was without counting on his second passion: wine. It has now been 10 years since this curious man, eager to share, took his first steps into the world of Bacchus. He followed several training courses, just to put all the chances on his side: an Oenology Technician diploma in Dijon initially, followed by a Professional Certificate in Agricultural Business Manager in Beaune. One beautiful spring morning in 2019, on the peri-urban border of Chelles in Seine et Marne, on the hills of Monguichet, Pierric sets out. He chooses grape varieties consistent with the rather cool northern climate zone: chardonnay, pinot gris and pinot noir for the essentials. He also brings a touch of originality with
Savagnin , an emblematic variety of the Jura. In summary, take a passionate man, vines in a place full of biodiversity, enhanced with vitiforestry (planting trees in the vineyards to provide shade and adapt to global warming) and you obtain the Domaine of the Coteaux du Montguichet.
