There are at least as many Sancerre wines as there are winegrowers, one of the oldest appellations - 1936! Today, the protected area is made up of 14 municipalities, and more than 300 families work grapes in this area. Between them, a little gem: Domaine Etienne and Sébastien Riffault, one of the only natural winegrowers in the region. His wines have the richness of his terroir and his determination to bring the wine to life. The vintages have slightly confusing names, it's Lithuanian, his partner's mother tongue: Akméniné: made of stone, Auksinis: gold, Skeveldra: shard of stone...
