The Estate is located near the municipality of Filiria, in the
Goumenissa appellation, in the Greek region of
Macedonia . The Tatsis family immigrated here from Eastern Rumelia (now Bulgaria) and acquired the first vineyards in 1924. Today the winery is run by Stergios and Periklis Tatsis, the third generation of the family to do so. The vineyards cover 13 hectares, planted with the red wine varieties Negoska, Xynomavro (the two main varieties), Limnio, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cinsaut, as well as the white wine varieties Roditis, Malagouzia, Chardonnay. Since 1998, the vineyards have been cultivated according to organic farming guidelines. The wines are aged exclusively in French and American barrels. Red, rosé and white wines are produced here: OPAP
Goumenissa (quality wines) and Topikos Oinos (country wines).
