DSTILLERY
The WhistlePig story begins in 2007, when Raj Peter Bhakta purchased a farm in Shoreham, Vermont, with the idea of creating rye whiskey. The master distiller is among others Dave Pickerell, he was master distiller at Maker's Mark for 14 years. Whistle Pig has been distilling on the farm since 2015, they started by bottling excellent rye whiskey distilled in the United States and Canada. Their most famous expression, the 10-year-old WhistlePig, even appeared in an episode of Breaking Bad. The particularity of this distillery is to produce a whiskey not only from its own lands, but also to offer aging in oak barrels grown on the property also, in Vermont.
