This Savigny 1er Cru Lavières, vinified in stainless steel in whole clusters for 70% before eleven months of aging in barrels, is an absolute marvel, of great finesse! Very nice Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune.

DOMAIN

In 2010, Jérémy Recchione began working in Burgundy, notably at the Pierre Naigeon estate where he discovered with wonder the richness and subtlety of Burgundy climates. He then left for a few months in Australia to explore other horizons and returned to Côte de Nuits in 2013 where he decided, alongside his work as an employee, to vinify his first grapes purchased from winegrower friends. “It is above all a work of passion, that of cultivating and vinifying a natural raw material in order to offer a high quality finished product,” he explains with this infectious passion.

For 6 years, Jérémy Recchione patiently learned the trade, experimented, listened and refined his technique. And then, in 2019, it’s the big leap. He acquired a plot of Burgundy Aligoté “Les Cerisiers” located in the town of Messanges (Hautes Côtes de Nuits) and finally created his estate with a very clear line of conduct.

The philosophy of the estate is above all to respect nature and what it leaves available to us. We work the vines as healthily as possible. The wines are then vinified naturally. We sort in the vineyard and harvest in small 5 kilo boxes, which allows us to protect the raisins as much as possible and not to alter them. We exclusively use natural yeasts for fermentations. We don't add anything. The use of sulfur is zero or reduced to its maximum. Through our wines, we simply want to bring pleasure and convey emotion. » said Jeremy.

Jérémy's success was confirmed during the tasting of the 2022 vintage, which took place on Friday March 3, 2023. This tasting was an opportunity to discover a broader range of wines, with the addition of new vintages such as the Saint Romain, the Pouilly Fuissé 1er Cru Clos Reyssier, the Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru in Caradeux, the Côteaux Bourguignons and the Savigny 1er Cru Les Lavières. In 2022, all white wines are aged in 100% ceramic 400 liters. The red wines are, for their parts, aged in barrels . All the red wine vintages have been made with a proportion of whole harvest of up to 100% for the Côte de Nuits Villages Les Essarts vintage. Furthermore, Jérémy decided to highlight his Italian origins by producing a Dolcetto vintage , which brings a touch of novelty to his range.
