Created in 1986, Frank Phélan, the Château's second wine, is named after the son of Bernard Phélan, the estate's founder. Frank Phélan is produced from 15 hectares of old vines and a selection of vines less than ten years old. It respects the Château's classic values while expressing another facet of its terroir. Frank Phélan combines rich, intense, and crisp fruit with an elegant structure and silky tannins. It benefits from aging for 14 months. Its roundness and suppleness allow it to be enjoyed even in its earliest years.
