This vintage is harvested by hand with 20 kg boxes and carefully selected in the cellar. With a straw yellow hue, this wine presents delicate, pleasantly expressed aromas of lavender and peach, followed by a clearly defined mineral finish. The finish, both bold and fresh, is distinguished by its lemon zest.

DOMAIN

Susana Esteban was born in Tui, in northern Spain. She graduated in chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela and holds a master's degree in oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her career as a winemaker at Quinta do Côtto, in the Douro region, in 1999. In 2002, she joined Quinta do Crasto, also in the Douro Valley, where she worked as a winemaker until in 2007. Since 2007, she has acted as a consultant for several Alentejo wineries.

Over the course of her career, she has managed to accumulate a notable share of awards. In 2012, she obtained the title of "Best Oenologist of the Year" awarded by the Revista dos Vinhos, becoming the only female oenologist to receive such an award so far.

At the end of 2009, Susana Esteban decided to launch herself as a wine producer by starting her own project. She chose to create wines full of character, adopting a style slightly different from the traditional Alentejo method. For two years, she traveled throughout Alentejo in search of the perfect vineyards to make her wines. It was not until 2011 that she finally discovered the two small plots which would serve as the basis for her two wines.
