In 1970, Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired Château Clerc Milon, whose condition and operation left much to be desired. The renovation of the vineyard by the Château Mouton Rothschild teams, its consolidation, and various technical improvements, in particular the construction of a new vat room, are now bearing fruit. The estate was expanded in 2004, with the acquisition, and gradual integration, of the La Fleur Milon vines.
