Muscadet Sèvre et Maine "Air du Temps" 2018 White - Domaine de la Fessardière

The palate is round, rich with a beautiful liveliness of citrus. This white wine is ideally suited to gourmet dishes and festive meals: truffled white pudding, sweetbreads with morels or, in all simplicity: fish in sauce, poultry in cream sauce or a cheese platter.

DOMAIN

Domaine de la Fessardière has been producing organic wines since 1997. Former winemaker Michel Sauvion chose organic viticulture to improve the quality of his Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation wines and to work in harmony with nature. Jérôme and Emeline, two wine enthusiasts, wanted to settle in the Nantes vineyards to cultivate vines. They met Michel Sauvion in 2014. He showed them around the estate and introduced them to viticulture and winemaking. Seduced by the vines, the wine, and Michel's work, they immediately wanted to continue the process of producing wine in harmony with the nature that surrounds it, innovating towards ever-natural methods. Since then, these two new winemakers have taken over the Fessardière wine estate and developed a range of Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine wines… In order to preserve the environment, the estate has been committed to organic farming since 1997. We have banned all herbicides and use more natural practices such as plowing, which allow our wines to fully express the terroir. Similarly, we have excluded all chemical products from our plots, favoring natural products based on copper, sulfur and plant extracts. Today, all white wines from Domaine de la Fessardière are certified organic by ECOCERT.
