Producer: Jean-Pierre Guyon
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
the Jean-Pierre Guyon estate has 8.5 hectares of vines on some of the most beautiful Burgundian terroirs. The estate was created in the pre-war period by the grandfather of Jean-Pierre and Michel Guyon in the purest Burgundian tradition. The two brothers took over the estate in the 90s and today know each of the vines. In organic cultivation for a long time, the estate is currently undergoing biodynamic conversion (in 2020). Whole harvest vinification, systematic for Pinot Noirs, whatever the vintage or cuvée, gives remarkable style and precision to the wine. The use of sulfur is done with great caution. Don't miss the opportunity to taste one of the estate's reds if you are a fan of finesse. For the whites, the estate works with chardonnay of course but also pinot blanc with which the Guyon brothers make lively and sharp wines, a real treat!
