Antonio Camillo represents the Ciliegiolo in Maremma. Antonio has an oenological and viticultural experience of Maremma with few equals. Having worked with the largest and most famous companies in the Maremma wine landscape, also becoming the right-hand man of Giampaolo Paglia, the owner of Poggio Argentiera. In 2006, after years of searching for soil suitable for breeding Ciliegiolo, he finally found them and began producing their wines, with the aim of ennobling them and paying homage to the land of Maremma. The grapes come from ancient vineyards, such as the magnificent 60 year old Valerana Vineyard. Today the cultivated hectares have increased to 12 in different areas of Maremma, and next to the Ciliegiolo vineyards we also find Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Grenache, Vermentino, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Ansonica and Procanico, but all cultivated according to traditional methods and using only natural products.
