Les Jardins de Babylone is a vintage apart, with little alcohol, in a very ethereal style... It is the finesse and exceptional aromatic precision that stand out, when you have the chance to dip your lips in this nectar of an exception which recalls the great Auslese of Egon Muller or other great German or Austrian mellows…

DOMAIN

The Didier Dagueneau estate extends over 12 hectares on the hill of Saint Andelain in Pouilly sur Loire, very close to Sancerre, on the Cher/Nièvre border. In this region of the Loire Valley, Sauvignon is king.

Didier Dagueneau, who died in 2008, was an emblematic figure of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, and more generally of white wine in France. Today it is Louis-Benjamin who has taken over the estate and produces, with perfect continuity, and just as much sensitivity, Pouilly and Sancerre sought-after throughout the world for their extraordinary finesse: extremely crystalline sauvignons.
