Founded in 1962, Cantine San Marzano is the work of 19 local winegrowers in the Salento region. Under the direction of Francesco Cavallo since 1982, he developed the wine offering and brought together new winegrowers. Today, it is a cooperative which has 1,200 winegrowers and which covers 1,500 hectares of vines. Over time, La Cantine has become one of the most popular and respected cellars in Puglia for the quality of its wines and the work accomplished over 50 years.
