DISTILLERY
Mr Daïquiri is a rum company founded by David Cordoba, aka “Mr Daïquiri”, and Arijit Bose. David Cordoba, originally from Argentina, and Arijit Bose, originally from India, are both internationally recognized in the world of spirits and cocktails.
David Cordoba, former communications manager, discovered his passion for bartending. After moving to Scotland, he helped place the Bramble among the top 50 cocktail bars in the world. He then served as an ambassador for Bacardi rum internationally for several years, before becoming a sales manager at a major spirits company in Singapore.
Arijit Bose, of Indian origin, is an expert in hotel management. He has worked as a bartender, trainer for various spirits brands, and ambassador for Monkey 47 in Asia.
“We aim to create a new modern rum brand, freeing ourselves from codes while respecting the standards of the category. We also want to incorporate elements of art and design.
Our bottlings will be composed of various rums, whether traditional or artisanal, single-plot or at cask strength, all notions well understood by today's enthusiasts.
