Roberto Voerzio's Barolo di La Morra shows an intense garnet red color; on the nose it expresses fruity notes of cherries and berries and floral notes of rose and cinnamon spices. The sip is rich and intense, balanced and elegant. Excellent in combination with red meats, game and mature cheeses.

DOMAIN

The Roberto Voerzio winery is located in La Morra, a village in the heart of the Langhe, in the Italian Piedmont. The estate was founded in 1986 when Roberto inherited 5 hectares of his father's vineyards. Since then, he has been one of Barolo's most acclaimed wine producers. Today the estate covers 8.5 hectares of vineyards around La Morra, with high planting densities producing tiny yields. There are 6 different plots in a range of Barolo vintages: Brunate, Cerequio, Capalot, La Serra, Pozzo dell'Anunziata and Sarmassa di Barolo, all of which are the origin of individual vintages. It also produces Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba and Langhe Nebbiolo.
