In the glass, a wonderful garnet-colored red with orange nuances. It emanates a very intense aromatic bouquet, rich in scents of oriental spices. The taste is warm, full, sweet and aromatic, with retronasal sensations that clearly recall the olfactory sensation. The persistence of the taste leaves a pleasantly bitter note of gentian. Very versatile at the table, it can possibly accompany cooked and grilled red meats or aged and herb cheeses. Incredible with desserts including dark chocolate, almond-based, cream and pine nuts, chestnuts, pears and chocolate.
DOMAIN
The Cappellano estate can be proud of having a rich history dating back 150 years. This started under the leadership of the great-great-grandfather of the current owner, Filippo Cappellano, a local notary who, at the age of 48, decided to unite 60 hectares of land into an estate. Thanks to his work and that of his loved ones, the Giovanni Cappellano vineyard (son of Filippo Cappellano) was awarded a bronze medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition which was then held in Paris.
