The nose opens with notes of quince, flint and fine notes of small stone fruits, and a hint of fresh citrus as well as a hint of brioche. The palate is fruity, balanced, with beautiful minerality. A lovely, harmonious and very elegant wine!
DOMAIN
Located in the town of Corgoloin, the Chopin estate has always produced wines with temperament and great consistency. Arnaud, the eldest of the two brothers, joined the estate in 1997, with a BTS in oenology in hand. Alban, the youngest, who worked for the François Frères cooperage, arrived in 2000. To improve the quality of their production, they reduced the operating surface. “This allowed us to take better care of our vines,” confides Arnaud. More thorough tillage, greater maturity and partial whole-cluster vinification have improved the quality of production and the complexity of their vintages.
