Champagne "Rose de Vignes" Extra Brut - Champagne André Robert

The "Les Roses de Vignes" vintage is a blended rosé from our vineyards in Mesnil-sur-Oger, Montigny-sous-Châtillon, and Lisse in Champagne. A real gem to discover, full of fruit and, above all, incredibly fresh!

The André Robert Champagne House is above all a family business.

The ROBERT family has been working the vineyards in Champagne for several generations. Henri Robert (1881-1948) began working the vines "en masse" after the First World War. In the 1930s, he created the first group of winegrowers to pool their pressing and winemaking resources.

Immediately after the Second World War, André Robert, born in 1925, worked the vineyard with his horse as his companion. In 1960, he bought the House, which owns these wonderful 19th-century chalk cellars, where our bottles are currently stored. He began selling his Champagne bottles in 1962.

Immersed in the world of Champagne since his earliest childhood, Bertrand Robert took over the estate in 1981, accompanied by his wife Colette who joined the House in 1990.

The estate is spread over 14 hectares, the vast majority of which are classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. They cultivate three grape varieties in several communes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.

But the Chardonnay grape variety remains the soul of the House and the common thread running through all the blends. A delicate, fragile grape, it brings mineral, white flower, and citrus notes to the blends and allows for the production of fine and elegant wines.

With plots of vines each bearing a name, an identity, a family history, they produce their own grapes.

In their cellars, they accompany the entire life of their Champagnes: from their birth to their full maturity. They are their children!
