The Bourgogne Les Perrières 2021 reveals aromas of orange zest, plum and peony, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and melting palate that makes a delicate wine.
The history of the Domaine began in 1880 in Savigny-les-Beaune. Since that date, generations have succeeded one another, each contributing their work and knowledge to the development of the Domaine. Domaine Simon Bize et Fils is located in Savigny-les-Beaune in Burgundy. The history of the estate began in 1880 with Simon Bize, who launched into viticulture with a few acres of vines in the middle of the phylloxera crisis. The Simon Bize estate then passed to his son, also called Simon, in 1918, who increased its surface area, then to the latter's son (again a Simon), in 1950. Until then, the estate's wines did not were not marketed directly but entrusted to trading. From 1950, the estate began to take off by building up a portfolio of private customers, wine merchants and restaurateurs. It is Patrick Bize, reference to Savigny, who has defended since his installation in 1972 a classic vision of Burgundy, far from fashion and style effects. Her sister Marielle Grivot took up the torch after her sudden death in 2013.
