This plot is located in “Buisson”, the hamlet of Ladoix. The vineyard is on a well-draining clay-limestone hillside, with a medium slope and facing south. The maturity of the plot is always uniform and excellent. Putting whole grapes into vats (no destemming), no filtration. Intense nose, combining red fruits, toasted notes and a touch of violet. Wood expresses itself with subtlety and finesse. The fruit is rich and fresh, with a red fruit tendency. The palate is elegant and tender, with a suave structure. The expression of a beautiful maturity of Pinot Noir, revealing all the complexity and harmony between the vine and its terroir.
Claire Naudin took over Domaine Naudin-Ferrand in 1994 to put her stamp on it. Resolutely a fan of sustainable viticulture and integrated production, she refuses standardization and prefers an artisanal approach to sustainable viticulture, with minimal interventionism. Its Burgundian tradition wines, wines of emotion, but also wines of the future, take into account the carbon footprint. Woman winegrower, passionate mother, she wants to pass on her heritage for our greatest pleasure. The estate covers around 22 hectares of vines, a few vintages such as Echezeaux, Aloxe, Ladoix, Nuit-Saint-Georges and the rest, 80% in regional appellations such as Hautes Côtes. Its history is viscerally linked to that of the “Hautes-Côtes”. After discreet beginnings, the estate developed following the birth of this appellation in 1961.
