This maceration wine is light in alcohol but has great tension! Orange peel, apricot, melon on the nose and stone fruits and a little honey on the palate!
DOMAIN
Judith took over the dreams of the family estate in 2004. It is located in Gols, in the Burgenland region, about 50km south-east of Vienna, in the border area with Hungary and Slovakia. Judith trained at the Klosterneuburg School of Viticulture and gained her experience through internships in Cos d'Estournel (France), Braida (Italy) and Errazuriz (Chile). She began converting the vineyard to biodynamics in 2007. The first years, particularly 2008, were tough because the vines needed time to re-acclimatize. Conversely, Judith now observes that her vines generally have fewer problems than those of winegrowers who work conventionally. Biodynamics, environmental responsibility, sustainable management – subjects which have been at the heart of many discussions between winegrowers and which led several of them to come together in 2007 to form the “ Respekt ” association by setting aims to consistently implement the principles of biodynamics in viticulture.
