Since the beginning of the 2000s (in 2002 exactly...), Jean Christophe Garnier, a former professional sommelier, has settled in St Lambert du Lattay in Anjou, right next to the Mosse family, on barely more than 2 hectares.
With the fixed idea in mind: to produce natural wines!
He trained in particular with the Parcé in Roussillon, and with Mark Angeli in Anjou (the Ferme de la Sansonnière)... And it is clear that this very talented new winemaker has succeeded in his challenge! And it must be said that it was not necessarily a foregone conclusion when you know the number of beautiful cellars in the region...
On these shale terroirs; Jean Christophe Garnier produces frank and vibrant juices, expressive and mineral, on a vineyard of 7 hectares today, certified organic. Special mention for his frank, sapid and mineral Chenins, a style that can be recognized among a thousand... His Whites are to die for, it's quite simple... A winemaker to follow and re-taste every vintage; a very beautiful discovery that we have great pleasure in sharing with you!
