THE Château Del Ranq , is located in Claret, on Pic Saint-Loup. Laure Barthélémy And Sébastien Freychet work their vines following the principles of Biodynamics .
Each plot is unique and has its own particularities. THE observe and understanding them helps them achieve the goal of their flourishing.
In 2018, they settled on 3 hectares, then took over the 10 hectares of the family property in 2020. These vines have been in the family for generations and have always been worked with the greatest respect for the land and the plants. The property has been in Organic Farming since 2009.
Our lands are made up of limestones and clays . The vines are surrounded by scrubland and the parent rock exposed in places is composed of layers of limestone and marl.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in indigenous yeasts . Each plot is vinified separately. The wine is aged then bottled at the estate by us. No input in wines, except for a tiny dose of SO 2 if necessary.
