Château Galoupet is an innovative wine estate of 77 hectares of classified woods and 69 hectares of vines, which will be certified organic in May 2023.
LVMH acquired this estate in 2019 with the ambition to offer exceptional expressions of this unique terroir with the greatest respect for the environment, from the earth to the glass.
Château Galoupet is convinced that biodiversity is an integral part of the creation of exceptional terroir wines. For four years, the team has been working hand in hand with a community of experts to restore a rare ecosystem and adapt its viticultural practices to best respect the balance of the vine in its environment. Partnerships with local associations are essential to advance biodiversity in the area and measure its impact over time. Home to one of the 12 queen bee fertilization stations existing in the world, the objective of the estate is to fully express the potential of the terroir in a sanctuary of biodiversity while being a shining example of sustainability within LVMH and a model of organic and environmental practices for the wine industry.
