All the wines produced at Château de Crémat are made from organic grapes. The Bellet vineyard grows on a stony, clay-silico-limestone terroir of the Nice hillside. This terroir is called Poudingue, it has poor soil which favors the slow ripening of the grapes. The daily sea breeze helps to clean up the plant cover and to have a healthy vineyard.
In 2020 Crémat had a cold winter with average rain, a mild, rather sunny spring and a superb, not too hot summer with just a little rain at the end of September. With over 260 days of sunshine throughout the year, they had perfect weather all year round. South/South East facing plots composed of clay-limestone soils, located at an altitude of 230 meters.
