Below the Grand Cru “Le Musigny”, “Les Amoureuses” is a legendary wine that is very inaccessible. The beautiful harvest of the 2019 vintage allows Domaine Groffier to vat with 50% whole bunches. The breeding is renewed at 25% in new wood.
This mythical climate borders the bottom of the Musigny grand cru, going up to its northern part. “Les Amoureuses” is unanimously considered a great vintage by insiders around the world. Demand for this vintage is growing more and more and the prices for these bottles are rightly close to the prices of the great wines of the appellation.

Domaine Robert Groffier has some of the most beautiful appellations in Burgundy , with great wines such as Bonne Mares, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze but also the legendary Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Amoureuses” . Since 2005, Nicolas Groffier has been running the family estate. He is committed to respecting the land and the vines. He practices meticulous viticulture where the work on the vines is carried out vine by vine. On the winemaking side, Nicolas Groffier produces great wines for aging which require around ten years in the cellar to be able to reveal their potential. The vineyard of Domaine Robert Groffier Père et Fils flourishes on shallow brown limestone soil. The vines can thus take deep roots and draw in the nutrients necessary for their proper development. The vineyard covers 8 hectares and reaches an average age of 40 years. The estate is at the origin of legendary wines such as the Chambolle -Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses , the Bonnes-Mares and the Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze . The wines are incredibly elegant and offer you unforgettable tasting moments.
