The Séailles estate is located in Mouchan in the Gers, in the heart of Armagnac and the Côtes de Gascogne. It was in 1997 that Jean Labérenne undertook to convert the family estate to organic farming, which today covers 26 hectares (13 of white, 13 of red, including 24 for Vin de pays and 2 for Armagnac). Located in the Ténarèze area which gives such a particular taste (with its limestone subsoil), the Séailles estate has long acquired a fine reputation in the production of fine and vintage Armagnacs that we have the wisdom to to wait “as long as necessary” before marketing them. Wine production dates from the mid-2000s. The quality continues to improve and the wines are recognized in the biggest guides such as Bettane and Dessauve.
