Château Vieux Taillefer is a family property of five hectares of vines located in the different communes of the Saint-Emilion appellation. All production comes from organic farming, certified by the ECOCERT label.
The history of Château Vieux Taillefer is quite old, since the property dates from the end of the 18th century but underwent a significant change from 2006 and the acquisition of the property by Catherine and Philippe Cohen.
Catherine, oenologist, and Philippe, merchant, have had the desire from the start, with their experience in the world of wine, for more than twenty-five years, to produce wines which are representative of their terroir, of the place where they were born, while dealing with the data from each vintage.
