Domain: Trapet

Founded in 1919 in Gevrey-Chambertin, the Jean Trapet Père et Fils estate rose to the top during the 20th century. Today, the vines of this family estate cover 15 hectares, including 13.5 hectares of Pinot Noir and 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay, and include famous appellations, including Grands Crus Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin and Gevrey-Chambertin.
Cultivated biodynamically since 1995, the Jean Trapet Père et Fils estate took on a new dimension when Jean-Louis Trapet married Andrée Grayer, heiress to an estate in Riquewihr in Alsace. The wines from the Jean Trapet Père et Fils estate are among the most prestigious and recognized in the region.
