Domaine Solence
The 14 hectares that make up the Domaine today are spread over a terroir comprising two very distinct geological identities. The first part is made up of alluvial, limestone, very filtering soils, where our Syrah, Grenache and other Marselan fully flourish. The second part of our vines is marked by shallow loamy-clay soils, also colder, favorable by their minerality to whites and rosés.
Since 1992, Domaine Solence has complied with European specifications for organic winemaking. The wine is born and matures in stainless steel vats and barrels, with particular attention paid to monitoring fermentation temperatures. All the plots are subject to a particular, separate vinification, and each vintage is then born from a blend between them. The wines are elegant, captivating and delicious. Since 2014, significant work has been carried out at the Domaine; we now welcome visitors in a cellar designed by our architect son to best integrate into our environment.
