It is in Ladoix that the Côte de Beaune begins when you arrive from the north. This little-known appellation, especially in white, is worth a detour. The Chevalier family, based in Ladoix. The estate is today managed by three sisters: Chloé, Julie and Anaïs, each with their own specialty. The grapes are harvested by hand, as soon as optimal maturity is reached. They are then pressed and put in barrels for alcoholic fermentation. The breeding will last 11 months.
The new generation in place, the domain continues, as in 1850, to be recognized
from professional tasters from specialized magazines.
