Producer: Anne and Jean-Francois GANEVAT | Region: Jura | Grape varieties: Gamay, Poulsard and Pinot Noir | Vintage: 2023 | Color: Red | Quantity: 75cL
De toute beauté 2023 is a wine with a light, almost translucent ruby red color, with garnet and purple highlights. A beautiful brilliance testifies to the wine's freshness and natural character.
The nose is fine and expressive, marked by aromas of fresh red fruits (morello cherry, raspberry, redcurrant) and violet.
On the palate, the attack is lively and juicy with notes of crisp and tangy fruit. The texture is fluid and silky, with very fine, barely perceptible tannins. The natural acidity brings freshness and tension, prolonging the tasting on a slightly mineral framework. The balance between lightness and depth makes this an extremely digestible and pleasant wine that will pair perfectly with a pork tenderloin with herbs or a ceviche with red fruits.
DOMAIN
Located in La Combe de Rotalier, in the southern Jura region, the Anne and Jean-François Ganevat estate is a leading source of natural wines. Jean-François, nicknamed "Fanfan," took over the family estate in 1998 after earning his stripes in Burgundy with Jean-Marc Morey. He instilled a philosophy based on respect for the terroir, unpretentious winemaking, and the purest expression of fruit.
The estate covers around fifteen hectares, cultivated biodynamically since 2006. The vines are carefully tended, without chemical additives, and the vinification is carried out without sulfur or with a minimum, to preserve the vitality of the wines. While the estate is primarily known for its Jura wines, Anne and Jean-François Ganevat also produce Vin de France cuvées, made from grape selections from other regions, always with a focus on finesse and drinkability.
The Ganevat style is wines of great purity, precise and vibrant, both deep and easy to drink, which have become cult among lovers of natural wines.
