Château Rouget is a prestigious French wine estate. The estate is part of the “Pomerol Séduction” group. It is located in the Bordeaux vineyard, in the town of Pomerol (33500) in Gironde. It produces red wines in the AOC Pomerol appellation. The estate produces a first wine called Château Rouget and a second wine called Carillon de Rouget. The estate has been included in the official classification of Pomerol wines as a Grand Cru.

Intense purple color with garnet reflections. Intense and spicy nose with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum and menthol.

Full on the palate with very rich notes of plum, black fruits and vanilla. Harmonious and generous.

Slightly mineral with coated toasted notes, lacy but structured and opulent tannins.

Persistent and complex finish with a full mouthfeel, revealing notes of cardamom, spices and a touch of chocolate.
