This rather rare vintage comes from a single plot and was vinified in barrels. Nose of ripe logs and spicy orange zest, fine notes of biscuit dominate, rich in finesse and complexity. An exceptional purist champagne which demonstrates great elegance and a very long mineral finish!

David was one of the very first in Champagne and France to take an interest in organic viticulture. In 1996, he began the organic conversion of the 3 hectares of vines (80% chardonnay, 20% pinot noir) of the estate located in Trépail (Montagne de Reims). It has been Demeter certified since 1998, and sets out to produce champagnes full of elegance, finesse, and particularly silky bubbles. David Léclapart only produces vintage, non-dosed champagnes, like snapshots of his Trépail terroir.
