Sereibroc is Corbières in the other direction. Old century-old Carignan vines and a few Grenache vines, both growing on red clay soils well exposed to the sun and the tramontane, produced this powerful although fresh wine, with lovely acidity, beautiful animal notes and earthy-fruity-candied aromas (cocoa, prune, fig). The harvest macerates for ninety days in concrete vats and the wine stays in bottles for two years.
Who says Natural Wines of Languedoc, necessarily says La Sorga! Anthony Tortul is well known in the small world of nature; working as a wine merchant since 2008 throughout the South West quarter of France. The recipe is simple: the grapes are all organic or biodynamic of course, from selected plots, most often a little isolated or with strong singularities, and the vinification is intended to be non-interventionist; for free wines, as close as possible to the grape.
