DOMAIN
The Domaine des 4 Pierres is the story of Édouard Fortin , a viti-vini enthusiast, who manages 4.5 hectares of vines, in Aragon in the Cabardès region, not very far from Carcassonne. In organic farming, its vineyard is mainly dedicated to the Carignan, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Viognier and Petit Manseng grape varieties. Édouard's work in the fields is constant and diligent all year round and until the harvest, so that he can keep interventions to a minimum once in the cellar. Édouard does not hesitate to offer 100% Carignan vintages in carbonic maceration: so airy and fruity, we instantly forget the heavyweights of the South.
