This Gamay-based red wine is a success full of deliciousness. The red fruit is present and coats the palate accompanied by a nice acidity. At the end of the palate the tannins are delicate. A wine of pleasure par excellence!!!
DOMAIN
Damien Bastian Goddard, trained as an agricultural engineer in Switzerland (Lullier), initially worked in horticulture. It was upon returning from an agricultural training mission in Africa that he decided to take an interest in viticulture. He trained at Dominique Lucas (Les Vignes de Paradis) then spent two years with Jean-Francois Ganevat in the Jura. In 2017 he created the “ça boit libre” estate by recovering a 0.75 ha Chasselas vineyard in the Marignan appellation in the commune of Sciez in Haute-Savoie. The wines are fermented with native yeasts and no artifices or inputs are used. Some traces of sweat and hard work may be noticeable.
