Maison KRESSMANN is one of the oldest FAMILY houses of trading wines which was established in 1871 by Edouard KRESSMANN. His ancestors were in the coffee trade and he found a similarity with the wine trade in blending grape varieties with a concern quality, finesse and balance. The Kressmann Grande Réserve reference has existed since 1897 . Kressmann relies on historical know-how with a powerful human connection at the heart of the vineyard by building a strong close relationship with the winegrowers. The proof is with the Château de la Pierrière, where the KRESSMANN house has had a signed exclusivity for 150 years. Since 1970, Kressmann has been among the first in Bordeaux to take part in a voluntary and collective approach to the environment, validated by ISO14001 certification. And today a large number of their wines benefit from environmental certification: Terra Vitis, High Environmental Value or Organic Agriculture.
