Beautiful dark red color. It is floral (violets, roses) and fruity (raspberry) with notes of liquorice. It is a fleshy and powerful wine with mineral tension due to manganese; it is elegant, charming and structured. Appreciable now but designed to keep.
Ground g manganese ranitic, eroded on the surface in the form of pink sand and forming a granite arena called “gorrhe”. South-East orientation; the plots are located in the “Les Roches”, “La Delatte”, “Aux Caves” & “La Grande Charrière” climats.
Vineyard, Middle age : 55 years, 10,000 plants/ha. Yield: 34 hl/ha

Philippe Pacalet is a reference in the art of producing wines without sulphites and with aging without racking, that is to say without separating the wine from its lees: A master in the development of high quality wines from 'a raw material and an exceptional terroir. To make this pinot noir , Pacalet harvests the grapes in whole clusters which are crushed in the old-fashioned way for three to four weeks. A true artisan who works with the greatest respect for the environment and with a minimum of intervention to produce the most elegant and sought-after natural Burgundy wines.
