DOMAIN

The Kreydenweiss estate is located in Andlau, in Alsace, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, under the influence of a continental climate. It includes 13 hectares of vines, the plots of which are scattered at the foot of the Piedmont des Vosges mountains and are distinguished by a mosaic of terroirs on hillsides all oriented south-southeast.
Marc Kreydenweiss comes from a family of winegrowers who have been living in Alsace for 3 centuries. He owns the estate and managed it from 1971 to 2007, during which time he passed the baton to his son Antoine. Fierce defenders of the Terroir, the Kreydenweiss are among the pioneers of biodynamics in Alsace – the estate has been involved in it since 1989 and has been affiliated with the Biodyvin label since 1995. Antoine now leads the work at the estate, accompanied by Charlotte, their daughters Zoé , Lilou and Léonie, of the team and his Comtois horse Sam. He attaches great importance to working the soil and balancing the maturity of the harvested grapes. The vinifications are natural, with slow pressings and homeopathic additions of sulfur.
Antoine's leitmotif is to produce wines with a real personality that highlights the soul of each of his terroirs.
