Notes of violets and red fruits mingle in a delicious, very convivial juice. A wine of great finesse, which takes nothing away from its fleshy body and its structured structure, for a pure moment of indulgence. A northern Syrah in short!
Pioneer of organic farming in France, Maurice Combier, even if he seems crazy, has always followed his convictions. From 1970, while viticulture discovered the “benefits” of technical progress, productivism and clones, he continued to advocate manual labor and hard work in the land. During all his years at the head of the estate, his priority for respect for the environment and the quality of his fruits will give him a head start to become an example in the Rhône Valley. The arrival of younger generations has favored, over the years, the extension of the property on viticulture to the detriment of arboriculture which only represents 5 hectares of apricot trees... Since 1990, Laurent has continued the work implemented by his father, David and Julien in turn ask themselves questions to constantly improve their practices. All plantings and replantings are mass selection to preserve the typicity of the grape varieties. It's all about balance and precision. Each intervention in the vineyard is adjusted as closely as possible according to the character of the soil, the lunar calendar and the life of the plant. It is Nature that governs each gesture and not the other way around.
