95% Syrah and 5% Viognier – a Côte Rôtie style, but coming from Saint-Marcel d'Ardèche, this wine has notes of ripe and intense black fruit with a floral touch of violet. It is quite round, powerful, and balanced in the mouth. The “1422” in the name comes from the year of purchase of the “Chaveyron” plot by Raymond Saladin. The estate has remained in the family since the 15th century!!
