Producer: Domaine La Grapperie, Renaud Guettier
Grape variety: 100% Pineau d'Aunis
100% Pineau d’Aunis. 15 months of aging. Garnet color for a complex nose of red fruits. A young Aunis structured between pepper and raspberry.
Pineau d'Aunis, a grape variety full of enthusiasm and lightness, is one of the oldest in the Loire Valley. It comes from old vines planted in the Coteaux du Loir appellation, on soils dominated by clay and flint. With its fifteen months of aging, Adonis is draped in a beautiful garnet color to give way to a complex nose of red fruits. On the palate, a beautiful structure between pepper and raspberry. Drink as an aperitif to warm up. Natural wine without added sulphites
Renaud Guettier is a young agro engineer, passionate about natural wines and in love with the Loir valley. With the firm intention of becoming a winemaker, he bought his first hectare of vines in 2004 and vinified his first wines alone. Since then, the estate has expanded and today has 4 ha 60 of vines.
The only wine estate in the AOC Coteaux du Loir in Indre et Loir, La Grapperie is made up of around fifteen plots spread over four communes: Epeigné sur Dême (37), Bueil en Touraine (37), Dissay sous Courcillon (72) and Saint Pierre de Cheville (72).
The entire vineyard is cultivated organically, certified by ECOCERT. The diversity of situations, exposures and orientations of these small plots on the left bank of the Loir will bring richness and balance to our vintages.<
