WINE
A white wine with a light golden color, Bourgogne Aligoté has brilliant green reflections. It releases fine notes of hawthorn, Williams pear and hazelnut on the nose. You will discover its aromas of small white flowers and spices on the palate. Bourgogne Aligoté is best enjoyed young at 12/13° and can be kept for at least 5 years. Ideal as an aperitif, it also goes wonderfully with blue-veined ham, pâté en croute, shellfish, river fish and poultry.
DOMAIN
Domaine Guilhem and Jean-Hugues Goisot is a family estate whose oldest traces date back to the 14th century. It is located in the north of Burgundy, in Saint-Bris le Vineux, in Yonne. It is carried out in organic farming as well as biodynamics with one conviction in mind: good wine is made in the vineyard and not in the cellar. Vinification is there only to reveal the potential of grapes lovingly produced all year round. For many years, choices have therefore been made to improve the quality of the grapes produced: increasing planting densities to encourage competition between vines, drastic limitation of yields thanks to disbudding to obtain more concentrated grapes, strict attention to the maturity of the harvested berries... All of these good practices, combined with real peasant common sense, make the Goisot estate the reference in the Saint-Bris and Côtes d'Auxerre appellations, with wines capable of competing with those well born from appellations with much greater prestige.DELIVERY
