DOMAIN
They have been producing wine in Mauves in Ardèche for several generations, long before the Saint Joseph appellation was created. At that time, wine was sold in tanks to merchants or cooperatives and was blended with other wines from different origins. The appellation was created and finally lovers of good wines were able to identify the origin of the wine and notice the quality of this terroir.
The vines are cultivated in the traditional way in so-called sustainable cultivation. They try to express the terroir as much as possible in our wines. For this they only use organic or natural mineral fertilizers and a minimum of inputs. The steep hillsides leave little room for mechanization, almost all of the work is done by hand.
