DOMAIN
Located in the Rhône valley, the Montvac estate has been passed down from mother to daughter since its creation in 1972. Today, Cécile Dusserre and her daughter Amélie are at the head of 22 hectares of vines in the Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Cotes du Rhone. For them, the purity of a wine goes hand in hand with respect for its terroir. The vineyard is organically farmed and Ecocert certified. Respect for the terroir implies respect for the grapes that come from it. No crushing, total destemming and preservation of natural yeasts. Morning and evening analyzes and daily tasting help guide winemaking through minimalist interventions (by infusion, small pumping overs only) which allow the grapes to develop all their qualities.
