In 2006, Maxime-François Laurent, son of emblematic winegrowers Philippe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry-Laurent, of Domaine Gramenon, created his small business. It consists of a partnership with a neighboring winegrower whose vines extend over approximately 6 hectares and are located in the communes of Montbrison sur lez and Valréas. The plots and the work in the vineyard are monitored throughout the year, the entire vineyard is cultivated without chemicals with respect for living things.
The subsoils are clay-limestone and the location of the vines gives the wines a decidedly fruity and sunny note. The harvest is of course done manually in crates, the harvest is sorted in the vineyard. Maxime vinifies all of the wines released under his label (he only buys fresh harvests and not finished wines). The vinification is as natural as possible: no addition of sulfur to the vat, the native yeasts ensure the fermentation, no fining or filtration, only a slight sulphiting after the Malo-lactic fermentation (2 g/hl).
