Coming from superb terraced hillsides located on the heights of the village of Condrieu, our “Les Ravines” cuvée is the result of an elegant blend of 5 plots with granite soil. Of great aromatic purity, it reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruits relayed by delicate floral notes. The distinguished and harmonious palate is characterized by a beautiful volume, a slender and pure finish, revealing the minerality of the terroir.
DOMAIN
The Niero estate was created in the early 1970s by Jean Pinchon, ambassador of the Condrieu appellation. His son-in-law Robert Niero took over the estate in 1985. In 2004, the 3rd generation took over with Rémi Niero, who developed and structured the estate to bring it to 9 hectares of vines. An engineer by training, he also manufactures vats intended for wine fermentation. The heart of production is located in Condrieu with 4 hectares divided into six plots. The estate produces two Côtes-Rôties from the Viallières terroir and the Bassenon terroir, as well as a Saint-Joseph cuvée, Bois Prieur.
