The places called "Mont-Main" and "Sourdelle" are located in the town of Beines opposite the premier cru "Vau de Vey". Characteristic nose of fresh citrus fruits, very frank attack and nice tension on the palate with freshness!
The estate represents a little more than 23 hectares spread over seven communes in Chablis (La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, Milly, Chablis, Beines, Lignorelles, Villy and Maligny). The origin of the estate dates back to the union between Christiane and Jean, both owning family vines, respectively in the town of Milly and Chapelle Vaupelteigne in the 1950s. The estate then expanded in the 1980s with the arrival of Philippe, son of Christiane and Jean, to count today 55 plots for 1 Ha 40 of Petit Chablis, 18 Ha of Chablis and 4 Ha 30 of Chablis Premiers Crus (1 Ha 99 of Cote de Léchet, 0 Ha 76 from Montmains, 0 Ha 83 from Vaillons, 0 Ha 60 from Fourchaume and 0 Ha 15 from Homme Mort). No weedkillers or insecticides have been used since 2011. Since 2018, they have also used Biodynamic practices to help the vines and soils flourish. Shredding the vine shoots, working the soil, sowing winter plant cover and adding cattle compost help preserve the balance and structure of the soil.
